Heavy Equipment Operator

Why do we need you ?

 The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating mobile and crushing equipment to support mining and production operations. This role is structured into a tiered system based on experience, skills, and equipment operation capabilities. Progression through tiers is based on demonstrated skills, performance, and experience.

Is this job for you ?

Skills & Equipment Operated:
  • Operates one type of mobile equipment (e.g., front-end loader, haul truck, or excavator) as directed by mine management.
  • Performs daily inspections on assigned machinery and reports issues.
  • Assists mechanics with basic maintenance tasks.
  • Always maintains housekeeping in the work environment.
  • Completes required safety documentation, including 60 Seconds to Think, Work Permits, SMAT & EMAT audits.
  • Works under close supervision with structured tasks.
