Why do we need you ?

Application of company products and system information in solving of technical inquiries and development of specifications.
To take a lead in the development projects specifics, specifications, systems literature, systems installation methodology e.t.c.
Maintain, update, and develop BIM models and digital content for company products and systems in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
To work cross functionally with sales and customer service centre to meet customer requests.
To stay abreast in application, use and installation of all company products and systems.
To escalate potential risks and opportunities to management.
To maintain and produce monthly KPI and performance reports.
To understand the scope, principle, norms, standards, accountabilities and bounds of contemporary architectural/building design practice.
To liaise with building project’s design team and professional consultants, when required.
Proactively identifying new opportunities for enhancing specifications and systems competitive advantage.
To offer technical support (Calls, Inquiries, Architectural CAD drawings, specifications e.t.c) to internal (Saint-Gobain employees) and external customers on the Company’s products and systems.
To apply architectural training, techniques, tools, knowhow and resources to problem solving, specifications and successfully execute tasks.

Is this job for you ?

We are seeking a candidate that has a minimum matric and tertiary qualification in Architecture or Building Technology. The ideal candidate requires three years. experience in an architectural technologist or technician role. It would be crucial for the candidate to possess knowledge and application of National Building Regulations and Building Standards, and relevant statutory requirements to ensure regulatory compliance. At least five years’ experience in AutoCAD, Revit or Inventor.

This role will focus on technical support to internal and external customers and maximise opportunities for company products and systems through offering specialist knowledge of building physics in line with the company objectives and meeting contractual KPIs.
