Why do we need you ?
- Assist with workplace health and safety inspections, audits and compliance assessments.
- Participate in hazard identification, risk assessments and implementation of corrective actions.
- Support incident reporting, investigations and root cause analysis activities.
- Assist in maintaining health and safety records, registers and documentation.
- Participate in safety campaigns and employee awareness initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with safe work practices and company safety procedures.
- Support environmental inspections and compliance monitoring activities.
- Collect, analyse and record environmental performance data, including Waste Management
- Participate in environmental awareness programmes and campaigns.
- Assist in implementing sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.
- Support environmental reporting and record keeping.
- Support environmental inspections and compliance monitoring activities.
- Maintain EHS databases, registers and filing systems.
- File, update and control health, safety and environmental records.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly EHS performance reports.
- Assist with document control and management system administration.
Is this job for you ?
The ideal candidate must have a completed Matric and possess a minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Equivalent, SAMTRAC or equivalent. Must have experience with ISO 9001/14001/45001 Implementation and Internal auditing. The ideal candidate must also have strong computer literacy skills.

The incumbent will work closely with management and employees to assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management Systems and ensure compliance with applicable legal and company requirements.
