Why do we need you ?
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth of CertainTeed's Stone Facade and Urban Reserve businesses across the United States. While national in scope, success in this role is driven by region-specific opportunity identification and execution.
This role serves as the tip of the spear for growth – leading early market wins, demand creation, and complex opportunities - while enabling EPS regional leaders and the broader sales organization to confidently promote and grow the products over time. Long-term success is defined by both direct results and the ability to equip the field through training, tools, joint selling, and repeatable playbooks. The role functions as a player-coach, combining direct market execution with capability-building for Regional Managers and sales teams.
The position requires close collaboration with EPS Sales leadership, Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure strong market execution and customer experience.
This position carries direct accountability for growth performance, acting as the single-threaded owner responsible for identifying where to grow, how to grow, and delivering measurable results until products reach sufficient scale for broader EPS ownership. The role is strategic to the Siding business and is critical to sustained portfolio expansion and long-term revenue growth.
Job duties fall under the following essential functions:
