About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, hands-on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professional who thrives on building relationships, influencing positive change, and making a tangible impact across multiple manufacturing locations.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to site leadership, helping create safer workplaces, strengthen environmental stewardship, and foster a culture where every employee takes ownership of safety. You will leverage your technical expertise, practical problem-solving skills, and collaborative approach to support risk management, regulatory compliance, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position will ideally support 6–8 assigned locations, with occasional coverage expanding to up to 13 sites nationwide based on business needs, and will require up to 75% travel. Ideally, candidates will be based near the Atlanta, GA, or Chicago, IL areas to support travel and operational needs.
What You'll Do
- Partner with multiple sites to identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards through proactive risk assessments, audits, inspections, and observations.
- Lead and support incident investigations, identify root causes, and drive effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Deliver engaging EHS training and coaching programs that build knowledge, accountability, and a strong safety-first culture.
- Champion a positive safety culture by influencing and engaging employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Support the implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives while ensuring consistency across assigned locations.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to drive safety and environmental improvement projects.
- Help sites maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulations while staying current on evolving industry requirements and best practices.
- Travel regularly to support assigned facilities and build strong partnerships with local teams.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a proactive EHS professional who is passionate about safety, enjoys partnering directly with operations teams, and thrives in a dynamic, multi-site environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Proven ability to train, coach, and influence employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
- Must be based at an ICPG manufacturing facility, which will serve as the employee's home site.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time to support multiple manufacturing locations.
- Must reside within a reasonable driving distance of a major commercial airport to support regular business travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple facilities, regions, or business locations.
- Familiarity with EHS management systems, digital reporting tools, and compliance tracking platforms.

Benefits in joining us
Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $92,000 to $142,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for bonus pay. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and bonus) for this position, is $103,000 to $159,000. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
