Facilities Project Manager

Why do we need you ?

As a Facilities Project Manager, this role is responsible for leading key facilities projects & activity that support the safe, efficient, and welcoming operation of SGNA's Malvern campus. The role drives facilities initiatives by applying best practices informed by market research and internal customer needs, and requires a mix of strategic thinking, influence and negotiation, project management, and efficient prioritization. It is highly hands-on and demands strong, detail-oriented execution skills. Internal customers rely on timely and effective status reporting, with the Project Manager providing clear project direction, metric definition, and performance management. 
This role serves as a single point of accountability for assigned projects, maintaining focus on scope, resources, schedules, risk management, issue tracking, and overall project status. A digital mindset is preferred, with a passion for applying technology to meet business needs.    
 
Key areas of focus:
 
Project Planning & Execution:


· Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with management, project sponsors, product owners, architects, and other stakeholders.
· Lead the project execution and delivery and help project teams maintain an overall project vision with supporting project plans.
·Support the planning, prioritization, coordination, and execution of the Employee Experience (EX) roadmap, including a portfolio of initiatives focused on service delivery improvements, employee support operations, HR technology implementations, workplace experience, employee engagement, and overall operational effectiveness.
 
Project Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
·Refine project execution approach using project management standards and best practices.
·Identify and manage project dependencies, critical path items, and project risks.
· Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
·Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential roadblocks, and devise contingency plans.
·Develop and deliver progress reports to management and other stakeholders including issue/action item logs, project status, and risks.
·Conduct post-project reviews and make recommendations for continuous excellence in project execution and delivery. 
- Track project outcomes, employee feedback, adoption risks, operational impacts, and process improvement opportunities to support successful implementation and sustained employee experience improvements.
 
Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
· Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
· Effectively communicate expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion, continuously manage objectives, and hold project team members accountable for delivery.
- Partner with Employee Experience, Facilities, HR Hubs, Payroll, HRIS, IT, Communications, business stakeholders, and external vendors to align priorities, manage expectations, change readiness, and deliver successful employee-facing initiatives.
 
Portfolio Management & Best Practices
· Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Conduct post-project reviews and make recommendations for continuous excellence in project execution and delivery.
- Develop and advocate best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Is this job for you ?

Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field is required
- PMP certification or similar certification is preferred
- 4+ years relevant project management experience running projects in a complex, multi-site environment with cross functional teams
- 3 years experience working with HR and business leaders to set direction and drive project execution
- 3 years experience managing projects that are facilities-related
- Project Management Ability to develop risk mitigation scenarios, cost analysis and indirectly influence and coach internal team members and peers.    
- Strong written and verbal communication, formal presentation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and technical staff.    
- Proficiency with MS Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).    
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.    
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.    
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines    
- Familiarity with construction or similar industry    
- Practical knowledge of both agile and non-agile project methodologies.    
- Experience managing projects and utilization of project management software such as MS Project or Smartsheet, and practical knowledge of both agile and non-agile project methodologies.
