Why do we need you ?

The Material Handler is responsible for assisting with unloading inbound shipments safely and moving product to storage locations.

Essential Duties:

Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
Performing picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service requests
Assist in physical inventory
Efficiently move product from staging areas into rail cars or trailers
Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, putaway, and load functions, as required
Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards to unload and load shipments safely.
Assist with proper stock rotation
Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams.
Report all quality-related issues to the Supervisor.
Maintain quality service by following the Organization Standards.
Participate in the Company's Safety program
Maintain 5-S standards and housekeeping.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested.

Is this job for you ?

High School Diploma or equivalent
One (1) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Any appropriate combination of academic and work experience
Must be forklift certified and maintain a valid certification
