Operator II – Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Pay: Up to $23.00/hour based on experience + $1.00/hour shift differential
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 night shift schedule
We are seeking an experienced Operator II to safely operate and monitor PVC extrusion lines while producing quality products that meet company standards. This role is responsible for equipment setup, line operation, quality inspections, troubleshooting, material changes, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor PVC extrusion equipment and downstream machinery
- Perform line start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers, and color changes
- Conduct quality inspections and measurements to ensure product specifications are met
- Adjust machine settings, including temperatures, line speeds, and feeder RPMs
- Troubleshoot routine production issues and report abnormalities
- Enter production data into MES/Factory+ systems
- Follow all safety procedures, including basic Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S)
- Pack finished products as needed and assist with break coverage
- Support training of new operators and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Esta oferta é para ti?
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2–3 years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ year of extrusion or similar process experience preferred
- 2–3 years of quality inspection, measuring, and gauging experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and overtime as needed
