Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Associate is responsible for:

performing all duties in a safe and efficient manner following company safety standards
performing routine cleaning, inspecting and minor maintenance on equipment
Work in a productive and dynamic environment with a chance to make an impact with a global industrial leader
Have the opportunity for a satisfying job in a world class manufacturing plant.

Shift work for 24/7 Operation.

Wymagania

A successful candidate should be able to:

Be willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends
Possess a minimum grade 12 education and some post-secondary education is preferred
Be a team player and perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner
Be able to learn to operate automated plant manufacturing equipment
Interact, communicate and work effectively and professionally with all employees and management staff in a team-oriented environment
Spend a significant amount of time on plant floor
Perform tasks that require walking, bending, twisting, gripping, stair climbing, lifting, and entering confined spaces
Wear personal protective equipment necessary to comply with government and company safety standards.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the pay rate for this position which is $21.85 per hour.

Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include:

Sun Life Benefit package kicks in after 4 months
After 1,000 hours worked: Rate increases to $25.19 per hour (Packer Flex progression)
After 3,000 hours worked OR 18 months of service: Rate increases to $27.55 per hour (Packer classification)
Night Shift premium $1.70 per hour
Weekend premium $0.30 per hour.
