VIE - Process Manufacturing Engineer - H/F

Description du poste

The VIE will develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. The candidate will be required to provide engineering support during each step of the product manufacturing and will facilitate the scaling-up stage.


Main responsibilities:

The VIE will support strategic initiatives and lead plant projects involving production processes and controls, process improvements and sustainability. Through the application of process engineering fundamentals and advances process control tools and automation the VIE will also ensure that processes are centered, capable and in control and reduce process variations.

  • Support and facilitate the product industrialization stage in cooperation with the Launch Pad team,
  • Maintain and develop the manufacturing and quality documentation,
  • Support and develop the standardization of the manufacturing activities, including inspection standard (CIL) and 5S standards,
  • Interact with multi-disciplinary teams to support the operational trouble-shooting activities,
  • Build relations with internal customers, creating and reinforcing a team environment,
  • Analyze process variations; develop solutions and implement corrective actions by using advanced statistical tools in identifying and resolving the root causes of the variations in the process,
  • Participate in resolving critical process and product problems with customers and suppliers,
  • Design and develop new process systems, revise existing processes, and coordinate the implementation of projects,
  • Support the digitalization of the manufacturing activities.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Maths/ Physics, Chemical or Industrial Engineering (Chemical background is a strong asset for this position),
  • Ability to work effectively in manufacturing and multi-disciplinary team,
  • Logical thinking, analytical and detailed to do corrective actions,
  • Project management skills,
  • Problem solving and continuous improvement methods and tools (Kaizen, 8D analysis, WCM),
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
