Operator – 2nd Shift

Join our team as a 2nd Shift Operator! In this role, you will operate extrusion equipment to manufacture medical-grade tubing and profiles while ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with precision measuring tools and computer systems.

Responsibilities

Safely operate extrusion machinery to produce medical-grade tubing and profiles.
Load raw materials and perform machine setup, changeovers, and teardown between jobs.
Conduct dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, optical comparators, and other measuring equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, job sheets, production paperwork, and specifications.
Accurately document in-process inspections and quality checks using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Troubleshoot equipment and support production, assembly, and packaging operations as needed.
Follow all safety, quality, ISO, GMP, and SOP requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous machine operation experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
Excellent attendance, work ethic, and commitment to safety and quality.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
