Saint-Gobain located in Mickelton, NJ is looking for a 2nd shift Extrusion Operator

  • The 2nd shift work schedule is Monday - Friday, 3:30PM to 12:00AM
  • Pay rate is $26 per hour + 7% shift differential 
  • In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10%.
  • Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include: Standard Overtime (Hourly rate * 1.5)

We are hiring an Extrusion Operator for 2nd shift! We have an immediate need for someone who will perform many tasks in the extrusion area, including cleaning machines, filling hoppers, coiling tubing, monitoring extrusion, etc.

The successful candidates will:

- Be responsible for quality of product by assuring that product specifications are met and maintained
- Return all equipment and tooling to designated area
- Maintain accurate production records
- Be responsible for the thoroughness and accuracy of information transferred to the next reporting shift's operators
- Responsible for safety and cleanliness of assigned work area
- Active participation in Safety Program, which includes mandatory conducting of the required number of audits
- Follow all departmental Quality Management System standard operating procedures and work instructions in accordance with ISO 9001 standards
- Understand all environmental policies and significant environmental impact of job activities in accordance with ISO 14001 standard
- Adhere to 5S Program requirements
- Perform all other duties as assigned

The successful candidate:

- Must possess good organizational skills and pay attention to detail
- Have a HS Diploma or equivalent
- Must be dependable - attendance and timeliness
- Must be able to work well with others with a teamwork aptitude
- Must possess sufficient computer skills to work with internal systems
- Must meet minimum basic skills requirements
- Must have sufficient mathematical aptitude to perform calculations necessary to maintain proper paperwork

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $22.58 to $33.87 per our, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $51,667 to $77,500. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
