The HR Generalist II is responsible for the support, execution and administration of a wide range of Human Resources programs specific to a manufacturing site serving three different business units.   This requires the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced and changing environment with coordination of programs and initiatives between different SOA’s with a strong professional commitment to the Life Sciences business.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to employee relations, compliance with laws & regulations, employee development and training, total rewards management, Human Resource Information Systems, and recruitment. The Generalist II will work with the Human Resources Manager, LS Plant Manager and the Corporate Human Resource team on the implementation of strategic HR programs. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and will play an important role utilizing change leadership competencies to ensure the site will achieve business goals and objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

Become a trusted HR advisor providing sound counsel to business partners. Build respectful and collaborative relationships with all employees. Manage the difficult position of being employee advocate while maintaining Company policy, practice & procedure.

Main liaison with Corporate Life Sciences HR. Provide regular updates on culture/environment. Provide required reporting and monthly updates as requested. Provide statistical data for designated programs and answer questions concerning program procedures.

Manage recruitment efforts and establish strategy and plan, in collaboration with GG HR team to source and secure positions in nonexempt and temporary roles, conducts new employee orientation, writes and places job postings.

Continuously supports employee development and deliver/facilitate training programs & workshops to LS supervisors and employees, throughout the year. Monitor career pathing programs. Assists with the management of annual/mid-year Performance Reviews, salary & bonus planning.

Investigate complaints, resolve employee relations issues, ensure compliance with State & Federal laws and regulations.

 

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.

Work Experience

• 5+ years in Human Resources is required; within Manufacturing; Preferred.

Practical/Technical Knowledge

  • Experience in Coaching/Counseling/Conflict Resolution 
  • Ability to Influence without authority 
  • Digital competency/HRIS/Microsoft Suite 
  • Good understanding of workforce planning, labor market assessments 
  • HR analytics Licenses and Certifications  - PHR or SPHR is preferred.
