Description du poste

  • Develop the links and the contacts with the local marketing teams.
  • Market and competition acquisition at a global level (keep an eye on market intelligence, launch global market study if necessary, ….)
  • Sharing his knowledge:
    • Lead and develop the Flooring Community by networking with the locals MKT team, sharing experience and best practices, …
    • Design and Deliver trainings (mkt, products, applications) through the recurring channels (Hive, Unicampus, Technical Trainings, Community), as well as the specific demands of the countries (newcomers induction, …)
  • When requested by the countries, bring your support (in your scope of responsibility and based on the on-demand principle)
  • Manage international differentiating business/range/technology concept development:
    • Coordination with central and local R&D.
    • Validate the concept, convince and enrol some countries to be pilot on the project.
    • Define and prepare full launch package (tds, sds, packaging, brochures, video, …)
    • Promote and Disseminate the innovation in the other countries (embark, help local adaptation, …)
  • Help the countries to grow:
    • Identify which countries has an opportunity to grow in flooring.
    • Propose your support to deeply characterize the potential growth, the route to market and the value chain.
  • As part of the Market & Development team, work closely with the other departments for topics like Brand development, Sustainable business development, Communication, Sales and Marketing excellence, Digital &CX team, ….

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ

Education

Business or Engineering degree (min. MSc level)

Knowledge /Experience /Technical competencies

 

  • Successful field experience in Strategy / Sales / Marketing / Product management (+/- 10 years)

Flooring knowledge

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent in English compulsory (all meetings and conf calls)
  • Very well organized
  • Good negotiation skills, can listen and find compromises
  • Good communication skills, patient, takes time to explain
  • Sets priorities, gets things done
  • Analytical & practical mind
  • Curious, Open minded
  • Fully autonomous but not independent
  • Team player with cultural empathy
  • Travels: average 30%, peaks up to 50%, max. 2 weeks in a row out of the office. About 2/3 of travels in Europe (incl. Turkey & CIS), 1/3 worldwide.
