Bailey Metal Products, a proud subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, is seeking a Millwright on the Morning shift for its Surrey (BC) location. This is a great chance to join a Top Employer and contribute to our growth and success.

 

Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:15am-1:45pm (occasional over time)

 

Job Summary

The Maintenance Millwright will be an integral part of the Bailey Team and will report to the Technical Supervisor. The main purpose of this position is to ensure that the equipment and facilities are repaired and well maintained while meeting safety, quality, scheduling priorities, and productivity and reliability requirements. This requires coordination and reporting; troubleshooting; preventative maintenance; addressing safety issues; assisting with equipment mobilization planning and installation.

Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?

  • Industrial Millwright Red Seal Certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or steel processing.
  • Proven experience welding, including MIG and TIG welding processes.
  • Experience working with hydraulic systems.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining overhead cranes (asset).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word is an asset for documentation, communication, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical work practices; open‑minded and persistent in troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to follow instructions, document work, and work effectively with others.
  • Quick learner who adapts well to a fast‑paced industrial environment; a team player who takes initiative and can work independently when required.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet production deadlines.

 

 

Working Conditions

  • Able to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented plant environment.
  • Able to perform tasks in a multi-temperature environment/condition.
  • Able to lift products weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to adhere to all safety policies.

Additional Pay Incentives for this role include:

  • Standard Daily Overtime (Hourly Rate * 1.5)
  • Weekend Overtime (Hourly Rate * 2.0)
  • Annual base rate increases per the CBA
