Position description

Aligning demand with manufacturing capacity to create production and procurement schedules for finished products and component materials. Also to track and make a record of the manufacturing process flows, the planned and actual costs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma / degree in in Supply Chain Management & Operations Management
APICS
A minimum 3 years working experience, Production Planning, Distribution, Demand Planning, Material Planning Retail & Make to Stock Environment is preferred.
3 years’ experience in logistics, inventory control and warehouse supervision within production planning environment
Computer Literate
SAP Experience
Intercompany stock transfers
Excellent product knowledge
NCR process
Time sheets
SOP process
Cycle count and stock count process
Interpretation of CSI.
Review back orders/ open orders.
Manage and action Red light report. - Intercompany

Additional Requirements

Compiling the weekly production plan based on demand.
Updating the production plan in-line with the planned and unplanned changes
Confirming enough raw material for production plan in coming work
Updating production calendar.
In-coporate change overs to minimise cost inefficiencies
Ensuring all SAP and administration related functions are timeously done.
Conduct stock takes and cycle counts as required.
Ensure that safety and other Company rules and regulations are observed.
Constantly investigating and striving to find methods of improving customer service and operating efficiencies.
Compiling monthly and periodic reports as required. (red-light report).
Ad hoc duties required by the Warehouse Manager
Relationship with relevant management teams
Flexibility and adaptability of SGCP systems
Stability of the Gyproc Business Unit
