Quality Resident Technician 1st Shift

Position description

  • Provide excellent on site client services as expected by client
  • Handle: Failures, returns, complaints, inventory issues, quality concerns, guarantees etc.
  • Immediate and proactive feedback to Quality Manager
  • Quantify and identify all rejected material in client’s assembly line to provide immediate and constant feedback to Sekurit plants. 
  • Build solid relationship with customer in production floor-
  • Ensure topics move along the SGS-customer missions. *Key for success in a fast pace environment.
  • Monitoring evidences of product quality issues/concerns claimed or not by customer:
    • Inside the packaging
    • In assembly process
    • In cars
  • Record, report and track traceability data from quality issues/concerns claimed or not by customer
  • Record, report and track fall out rate from quality issues/concerns claimed or not by customer
  • Review and analyze quality claims by customer
  • Record, report, and track scrap charge
  • Rework quality issues/concerns when feasible, while detected during monitoring product quality. Record, report and track.
  • RMA Shipping process for product quality analysis.
  • Provide estimates about potential sorts
  • Training sort party for sorting process. Overseeing proper alignment to the required expectations.
  • Sort directly parts when feasibly to minimize hiring 3rd party
  • Coordinate with QI and 3rd party clean points from sorts, to ensure the material CSD reaches as smooth as possible to the lines to stop on the right time the sort.
  • Provide feedback about any agreements and actions taken with the customer

     

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1-year experience in Quality or related.
  • Knowledge of quality standards: ISO TS, ISO 9001 preferred
  • Knowledge in management of quality systems AMEF, control plans, 8D's, 5s, molds.
  • High School Diploma or technical field or related experience.

1st Shift hours 7AM to 3:30PM

2nd Shift hours 3PM to 11:30PM
