We are in search of a Quality Technician in our Mickleton, NJ site.  This position will:

  • Determine acceptability of material by comparing test/inspection results to specifications.
  • Perform incoming/outgoing inspection of materials and components following quality of work instructions and documents.
  • Perform final inspection on all orders according to quality of work instructions and documents.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and use of all inspection tools.
  • Complete and maintain work areas, gauges, equipment and instrumentation as scheduled or required.
  • Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety.
  • Inspect incoming material for proper part numbers and quantities.
  • Verify and complete paperwork on incoming purchase orders.
  • Perform return to vendor AWD/ERP transactions.
  • Report nonconformance condition (either product or process) to the Quality manager and actively seek ways to improve either individually or as part of a team.
  • Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have the following skills and requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of PC, good math skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Mechanical "hands-on" experience.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 a plus.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Able to read, interpret and follow SOPs, instructions, specifications, AutoCad drawings and reference materials.
  • Able to operate Quality specific equipment and instrumentation necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of QAD MRP system a plus.
