The QC Technician is responsible for quality control of coating processes and products in our films and fabrics plant. You would be responsible for assuring products meet customer requirements in accordance with project control plans and standards by performing testing, and documenting results to ensure conformance to Product Qaulity Document (PQD). You would work collaboratively with production and engineering regarding material discrepencies, investigations/root cause analysis and corrective actions for continuous improvements. This role prepares and tests, films, laminates, coated fabrics, yarn and architectural materials using precise equipment such as an Instron machine.
The QC Technician also suuports the Fabrication Quality Assurance team with EWR, DMR, and First Article testing/documentation as needed.

- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Associates Degree in Quality Assurance, Control or Engineering, desireable
- 1+ year working in a quality role
- 1+ year working in an ISO environment
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings (blueprints)
- Must have good understanding of specification requirements and tolerances, to include use of measuring devices for such (tape measure, etc)
- Must have good mathematical skills to convert fractions to decimals
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization and across shifts
- Strong committment to the team, attention to detail and dependability
- Strong computer skills
