We are looking for an Electrician to join our 2nd shift Team.
Responsible for upkeep and proper functioning of all facility electrical systems, including the diagnosis and repair to various production machinery. Effectively troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems to diagnose equipment failures and make necessary repairs while minimizing production downtime. Performs an operates job functions with safety, quality and efficiency in mind and in accordance with specific work procedures and operational parameters. Must have excellent attention to detail, is responsible for overall quality of craftsmanship of installation/repair.
Demonstrate safety awareness and safe work practices.
Comply with NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
Ensures work is performed in compliance with building and safety codes.
Coordinates and executes in assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on electrical or electronic wiring, electrical systems and apparatus, main power distribution systems and panel boards, various manufacturing/industrial equipment, and fixtures.
Monitors and tests various electrical systems, continuity of circuits in electrical wiring equipment and fixtures - using various types of testing equipment.
Installs, removes, repairs, overhauls and tests electrical equipment, both AC and DC.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair - ensuring compliance with code.
Assists in identifying preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
Assists on renovation and new installations.
Provides coverage on a call-in basis for any electrical issues that arise – including off-shifts.
Respond to emergency power and back-up system failures – including off-shifts.
When required assist other maintenance co-workers with tasks such as mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and combustion.
Willing to accept and receive frequent direction and assistance from various levels of management.
Uses ladder diagrams, electrical and related blueprints and schematics for installation, repairs, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
Uses a computer maintenance management system (Express Maintenance) to correctly capture data related to maintenance work orders, preventative maintenance inspections, and emergency/urgent customer requests.
Other related goals and activities as may be assigned.
Production environment with regular exposure to noise and dust
May be exposed to cold temperatures and/or extreme heat at times
Ability to stand, stoop, twist, turn and work over the head
Ability to lift/move a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Associates Degree (preferred)
1+ years experience installing, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and systems within a manufacturing/industrial environment
Valid State Driver’s license
Able to do all install work on electrical up to 600V
Demonstrated ability to read detailed blueprints, logic flow, and schematic prints
Advanced critical thinking, troubleshooting techniques, and problem-solving abilities
Dependability and thoroughness, detail-oriented
Certifiable to operate aerial lifts
Able to work at heights (ladders, aerial lifts, scaffolding, roofs)
