Extrusion Operators will safely operate extrusion machines, feeding raw material into machine to create medical-grade tubing and profiles, per detailed drawings, attribute specifications, and routing notes. Must perform dimensional inspections to ensure product is extruded in accordance with the provided specifications, using micrometers, calipers, tape measure, pi tape, optical comparator, and other measuring tools. This Operator must also record in-process inspections and verifications using Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Operator is also responsible for machine setup and tear-down between jobs. Must be mechanically inclined and proficient with computers.

Cleanroom Assemblers will safely assemble medical and biopharmaceutical manifolds according to the detailed drawings, using various assembly tools. Must perform dimensional inspections to ensure product is assembled in accordance with the provided routing notes. The Assembly Operator must also visually inspect product to ensure parts are clean and free of any dirt, hair, or particulate. This Operator must also record in-process inspections and verifications using Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Must have good attention to detail, and good hand/eye coordination.  Safely operate finishing (assembly & packaging) equipment & tools with limited supervision.

Injection Molding Operators will safely measure and cut silicone tubing to specific sizes and perform silicone injection over-mold to create manifolds, per detailed drawings, attribute specifications, and routing notes. Must perform dimensional inspections to ensure product is molded in accordance with the provided detailed drawings, using micrometers, calipers, tape measure, and other measuring tools. This Operator must also record in-process inspections and verifications using Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Must have good attention to detail, and good hand/eye coordination.

Packaging Operators will safely ensure parts are assembled correctly, referencing detailed drawings, attribute specifications, and routing notes. Must perform dimensional inspections to ensure product is in accordance with the provided detailed drawings and routing notes, using micrometers, calipers, tape measure, and other measuring tools. The Packaging Operator must also visually inspect product to ensure parts are clean and free of any dirt, hair, or particulate before packaging. Once product is packaging, the Packaging Operator will use a heat sealer to ensure the product is properly packaged. This Operator must also record in-process inspections and verifications using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Mill Braid Operators are responsible for safely operating both the mill machine and braiding machine. The Mill/Braid Operator will use the mill machine to compound silicone raw silicone to provide to the Extrusion Operators. The Operator must mill batches, up to 40 lbs., using the two-roll mill, to mix material per the routing notes, SOPs, MOPs, or batch records. Operator must also visually inspect product to ensure parts are clean and free of any dirt, hair, or particulate before supplying to the Extrusion department. The Mill/Braid Operator will also be responsible for braiding reinforced silicone tubing using the braiding machine. This Operator must also record in-process inspections and verifications using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Quality Assurance Lab Technicians are responsible for monitoring the processes and product quality at the Beaverton facility, and initiate problem solving, corrective action, and containment for nonconformity.  This position is granted the authority to accept or reject product on established criteria, and interrupt unsatisfactory processes. Promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings. Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.

 

Quality Control Floor Technicians (QAT) will compare measurements, form, fit, function, and value judgments of simple and complex parts to blueprint specifications and general workmanship standards using documents, experience, and knowledge of inspection techniques of Saint-Gobain Life Sciences – Beaverton, MI. Responsible for monitoring the processes and product quality on the production floor at the Beaverton facility, and initiate problem solving, corrective action, and containment for nonconformity.  This position is granted the authority to place on hold, accept or reject product on established criteria, and interrupt unsatisfactory processes. Promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings. Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.

Our Material Handlers effectively assist with in daily warehouse, shipping, and invoicing functions for the Production Inventory Control Dept. Promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings.  Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Good eye/hand coordination, good manual dexterity required. 
  • Machine operating experience helpful, with 6 months manufacturing experienct within production role; Preferred. 
  • Attention to detail is important; Required.
  • Good work ethic (both safe and quality), efficient and willingness to perform all required work with good attendance; Required.
  • Good communication skills-verbal and written; Required.
  • Understand all SOP's that are associated with job, quality, ISO and GMP; Preferred.
  • Proficient at interpreting requirements and other information from production paperwork, job sheets, batch records and DMR's; Preferred.
  • Understand blueprint drawings for products and basic mathematics.; Preferred.
  • Proficient with measurement equipment; Preferred.
