Job Goals: Product development, manufacturing and process engineering support with the ultimate objective of sustainable, profitable growth of the top line sales objective. This position requires knowledge of handling laboratory chemicals, formulation of chemical mixtures, testing chemical formulations, and product testing and measurement. The incumbent will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision and provide report summaries in an accurate & organized manner. What you DO matters: • You operate dedicated test rigs and conduct test protocols to evaluate the performance of our products • You lead and develop small R&D projects • You take ownership of work packages in bigger projects • You prepare samples, perform experiments and failure analysis testing in close collaboration with application and process engineers • You write reports and give feedback on performed tests • You give input and advice for further actions based on achieved technical results • You support technical team, process engineers and operations with analytical measurements, new material supplier validation (DRM) and specific customer needs • You are responsible for 5S and its implementation • You are responsible for calibration scheduling of lab equipment • You have autonomy and are encouraged to identify new equipment that can support overall technical understanding and business growth Pay range $18.44 to $31.12 per hour. Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements: • Associates degree in an engineering, technical, or science related field or equivalent experience • Hands on, act as an Entrepreneur, Innovate • Strong commitment to EH&S and 5S standards • Team oriented • Well organized • Planning and testing skills • Good written and communication skills • Fluent communication skills in English • Able to use Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Able to use SolidWorks for design of tooling is a plus • Knowledge and operation of advanced characterization equipment (SEM, DSC, TGA..) is a plus • Design experience, knowledge and operation of prototyping equipment (CNC, lathe, mill..) is a plus
