Position description

  • Perform control circuits maintenance and repairs.
  • Demonstrate ability to read ladder diagrams and trouble shoot systematically.
  • Provides coverage on a call-in basis for any electrical issues that arise including off-shifts.
  • Troubleshoot AC and DC control circuits.
  • Ability to do all install work on electrical up to 600V.
  • Ability to read detailed Blueprints, logic flow, Schematic prints.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and find root cause, independently.
  • Ability to work at heights (ladders, scissor lifts, scaffolding, roofs).
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. 
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning, or testing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of electrical or electronic (not mechanical) principles.
  • Compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, or verify information or data.
  • Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
  • Provide information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
  • Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to the job.
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow work instructions
  • Ability to read electrical drawings
  • Excellent mathematical skills required
  • Strong Microsoft Suite software knowledge
  • Valid GA Master Electrician license preferred
  • Knowledge of Predictive Maintenance techniques and demonstrated ability to utilize these techniques.
  • 3+ years of Master Electrician with industrial controls experience, PLC's and drives
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and willingness to assist others as needed.

Physical Demands/Efforts

  • Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds without assistance and when required uses a lift truck.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to stoop, crouch, climb stairs / ladders or bend. 
  • May work in warm, hot, cool, and cold temperatures.
