Why do we need you ?
This position ensures that all finished products meet CertainTeed’s strict quality standards before they reach our customers. The role performs hourly final audits on all key product attributes—including scrub tests, dimensions, alignment, sealant quality, moisture levels, bundle accuracy, and cosmetic checks. The position also assists with calibration of quality instruments, follows procedures for non‑conforming products, maintains 5S standards, and communicates proactively with production teams to identify and report issues. As the final checkpoint in the production process, this role is essential to protecting product integrity, ensuring accuracy in quality testing, and supporting safe, efficient plant operations
Pay: $29.50/hr paid weekly
Shift: 12-hour rotating 2-2-3

HS diploma or GED required
This job requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow established testing procedures. The ideal candidate can communicate clearly, escalate concerns appropriately, and work effectively within a rotating production crew. The role requires strict adherence to all safety policies, the ability to perform repetitive hourly checks, maintain organization in the work area, and reliably identify any quality or process issues. Candidates must be dependable, safety‑focused, comfortable using measurement and testing tools, and committed to ensuring the highest standard of finished product quality.
