Position description

The primary role of the Lamination Process Technician is to safely accomplish all of the production, quality, and cleaning tasks normally associated with the department. In this position, Team Members must be able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment. Shift schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10 PM-6 AM. Pay Range is $15-$17/hour plus a 20% shift differential!Essential Duties include:
  • Handling of glass
  • Continuous quality checks throughout each process
  • Working with computer programs and software to run equipment
  • Testing of product at different processes
  • Maintain a clean work area through workplace organization capability & visual management standards - 5S
  • Ability to work effectively as a team and individually
  • Ability to troubleshoot and respond quickly to minimize downtime
  • Strong decision making and good judgment to keep production flowing
  • Ability to multi-task and get the job completed to quality standards
  • Cross train in other areas
  • Provide training to team members on processes, equipment operations and safety


  • Experience with computers required
  • Manufacturing experience preferred  
  • Glass handling experience preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems/issues
  • Good attendance record
  • Good safety record
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures in the English language
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
