SAGE is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Technician to provide continuous support to production and contribute to the efficiency in which they run. Warehouse personnel are responsible for continuous improvement to 5S within the Warehouse, removal of scrap materials from production, staging of inventory for production batches and adhering to the SAGE established safety regulations. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 2 pm - 10 pm.


  • Must be able to work independently and in a fast paced environment. Maintain 5S requirement for the glass production inventory locations. Distribute material timely to the assigned production department and communicate effectively with both production and other warehouse team members.

  • Additional duties may include but are not limited to assisting warehouse associate team members when required. May also be required to load/unload customer orders at time of pick-up.

  • Pickup/delivery of Glass production inventory for assigned manufacturing orders (50% of time)

  • Complete inventory system adjustments for production assigned material (50% of time)

  • Removal of production scrap from designated departments (25% of time)

  • Complete inventory system adjustments for production assigned material (10% of time)

  • Maintain physical organization of the raw glass inventory (10% of time)

  • Maintain physical organization of the raw glass inventory (5% of time)

  • Complete cycle counts as defined by finance, warehouse management & purchasing team members


Minimum Knowledge & Skills:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, experience in an inventory control setting, material handling, forklift operations and/or manufacturing experience. Experience with Glass handling is preferred.

  • Candidates should expect a high pace work environment, be able to adapt to change and open to participating in continuous process improvements. Warehouse personnel are required to be able to bend and stoop, as well may be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • CDL preferred w/ 2+ years experience preferrable
