Position description
SageGlass®, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, located in Faribault, MN, produces electronically tintable glass for windows, skylights, and curtain walls. It tints automatically or on demand to control sunlight, without shades or blinds. SageGlass transforms the indoor experience by controlling sunlight to optimize daylight, outdoor views and comfort while preventing glare, fading and overheating without the need for blinds or shades.

We are hiring a Warehouse Assistant Team Lead-2nd Shift to guide our team and ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Warehouse functions on the 2nd shift.
What’s the job?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Receive, tag and relocate incoming glass
- Load and unload trucks
- Organize and delegate workload and be willing to help team members when needed
- Support the production lines as needed and requested by the Production teams
- Be responsible for the escalation of issues to the Team Lead and Manager
- Be responsible for the organization and prioritization of the shift activities (including breaks and position rotations)
- Work closely with the Team Lead, Manager, and the Maintenance Team
- Take responsibility for the actions of shift team members and report discipline issues with documentation to the Team Lead
- Lead the shift start meeting and communicate shift plan with the warehouse associates in the absence of the Warehouse Team Lead
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
What do you bring?
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Warehouse and forklift experience preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Driving and backing up a box truck to a loading dock a plus
- Ability to learn all the job duties in the Warehouse
- Ability to work closely with operational teams, plan maintenance techs, and production engineers
- Strong leadership skills a plus
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License preferred
- Willing to obtain forklift trainer certification
