Position description

The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of warehouse functions. These functions will include shipping materials, kitting, stocking incoming released material, receiving incoming materials, organizing the warehouse, following the 5S process, and supporting other warehouse responsibilities as needed. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for coordinating the cycle count program and performing all cycle counts. This role requires a person that is a team player, driven to complete all tasks given, agile and, a fast learner.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

High School diploma or equivalent

Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred inventory, equipment maintenance and, data entry experience

Able to work overtime

Additional description

Perform shipping activities independently.


Support receiving of components by unloading trucks and processing received products/components.


Prepare orders by processing customer requests based on delivery date; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area; arrange for shipments with carrier / FedEx; prepare documents for international and domestic shipments.


Follow organizational standards by sorting and placing materials as required.


Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.
Coordinate the cycle count program and perform all cycle counts.


Assist in physical inventory.


Prepare parcels for mailing.


Work with Carriers or Forwarders to send shipments to customers meeting to their timeline and rates.


Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and, mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.


Wear proper safety equipment and perform safety walks.


Willing to work overtime when required.


Must be able to work with limited Supervision.
