Supply Chain Coordinator

Why do we need you ?

The Supply Chain Coordinator is primarily responsible for the efficient movement and tracking of raw materials, supplies, finished goods and waste products in and out of manufacturing areas to ensure smooth, continuous operations.  This Coordinator manages the Inventory function within the facility.  The incumbent will also operate powered lift trucks and manual hand trucks in moving a variety of materials throughout the plant. As needed, the Inventory Control  Specialist may also assist in other areas.

As with all positions at SGPPL Poestenkill, this employee will follow all work practices, policies and procedures keep the facility in compliance with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Standards as well as maintain standard 5S protocols.  Compliance with all site EHS policies and safe work habits are mandated at all times.

Essential Functions

  • Delivers/removes Raw Materials, Packaging Supplies and Waste materials as needed.
  • Loading / unloading of flammable, corrosive, and carcinogenic hazardous raw materials and wastes in accordance with site safety standards.
  • Manages and maintains warehouse as per SG standards
  • Responsible for conducting scheduled cycle counts on inventory of materials investigates & raw material usage and cycle count variances
  • Completes daily transactions on Work orders
  • Supports and sometimes leads annual Physical Inventory process
  • Maintains a safe, neat and organized Lab and Lab equipment in accordance with area 5S standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED — Required
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in a related field — Preferred
  • Ability to secure a Forklift License at the Saint-Gobain Poestenkill facility — Required
  • Prior manufacturing, inventory, or warehouse experience — Preferred
  • Proven success working in a manufacturing environment

Provided is the local pay range for this position, which is $25.00 to $33.10 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures.

The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $1,000 - $10,000. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
