The Inside Sales Representative serves as direct link between certain designated customers or customer segments. This role will have the responsibility for managing and achieving an assigned sales objective with their customer portfolio, responding to technical and application questions, proactively engaging active and prospective customers.
The role will involve multi-tasking on many different levels in a commercial/Sales capacity for the Bio Process Solutions business. The role will be an extension of the sales organization. Major objectives will be to close new business opportunities, reporting results and initiating action on behalf of This role will work hand-in-hand with the commercial organization and ensure all commercial activities are documented in the CRM tool. An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations, responding in real-time to inquiries, prevent problems (and elevate them to the appropriate management level, when needed), and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and the overall business and site operations.
- Proactively manage portfolio of customers in order to both maintain and grow our business
- Identify and foster opportunities for new product sales.
- Provide adequate technical and regulatory support to customers, working closely with the relevant business functions (Marketing, Quality, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences or Engineering.
- 2+years’ experience sales or customer service experience
- Some experience with commercial experience with technical products or Life Science industry preferred.
