The Inside Sales Representative serves as a direct link between designated customers or customer segments. This role will have responsibilities for managing and achieving an assigned sales objective with their customer portfolio, responding to technical and product application questions, proactively engaging active and prospective customers.
Individual in this role is involved with multi-tasking on many different levels in a commercial/Sales capacity for the Bio Process Solutions business. They will work hand-in-hand with the commercial organization and ensure all commercial activities are documented in the CRM tool. A successful employee in this role must focused on customers' expectations, responding in real-time to inquiries, proactively anticipate to prevent problems (and elevate them to the appropriate management level, when needed), and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers, and the overall business and site operations.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Life Sciences or Engineering with 2-5 years selling and customer service experience. More qualified candidates will have commercial experience with technical products in Life Sciences industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have experience prospecting, cold calling, and persuasion, as well as, knowledge of process, technical, and commercial problem-solving.
Travel as necessary for occasional customer and internal meetings, as well as Saint-Gobain sites to gain familiarity with customers products and personnel.
