SageGlass®, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, located in Faribault, MN, produces electronically tintable glass for windows, skylights, and curtain walls. It tints automatically or on demand to control sunlight, without shades or blinds. SageGlass transforms the indoor experience by controlling sunlight to optimize daylight, outdoor views and comfort while preventing glare, fading and overheating without the need for blinds or shades.

What’s the job?

We are NOW hiring a Program Manager to join our team!

The Program Manager provides the strategic guidance to teams across multiple business entities within the newly created Commercial Building Envelope Group (CBEG) in ways that promotes the success of CBEG. An excellent leader, the Program Manager collaborates across different functions such as Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and IT to develop & deploy strategic and tactical programs  ranging from Market intelligence updates, strategic target campaigns, OneCRM and other similar initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Market sizing, customer segmentation, needs identification, value propositions, solution ideation.
  • Keep cross-functional team members hooked and aligned to CBEG’s success, especially during times of market ambiguity and competitive disruption.
  • Clear communication of program plans to internal and external stakeholders with definitions of success.
  • Critical member of innovation funnel and roadmap prioritization process.
  • The Saint-Gobain group conducts transversal research through different brands at its 8 global R&D centers. The Program manager is aware of the key projects and enables cross business collaboration through either new product integrations, joint product specifications, etc. The Program manager also offers cross business training so that the team can present themselves in a unified manner.
  • Manage the presence of the brands within the CBEG on various digital platforms through the independent brand marketing teams. This could be on platforms that drive specification like Master Spec and others, sustainability based platforms such as Ecomedes and several others. Also includes managing existing relationships and making them available for the entire CBEG group.
  • Draft and deploy OneCRM to ease collaboration and reporting across the businesses in the CBEG group. Seek stakeholder feedback to maintain/ update the CRM system.
  • Company and marketing related meetings, events, training etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or engineering related preferred
  • MBA preferred
  • 2+ years in Program Management technical/non-technical a plus
  • 2+ years in Marketing/ Product Management/ Strategy/ R&D required
  • Delivering highly successful and innovative solutions in industries such as building materials/ construction/ adjacent industries
  • Building construction industry knowledge required
  • Block diagramming solutions for innovative product development/ program management
  • Glass industry knowledge
  • Ability to make strategic decisions on make on the roadmap with respect to new product or solution development internally or partnering with other providers
  • The skill to distill and articulate your target markets, segments and drivers
  • Travel 20% to VOC, events, internal meetings
  • Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally (sales, marketing, engineering, operations) to manage a product portfolio
  • A high bar across the board - from your own contributions to the people you work with and the products you work on
  • Hands-on.  You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something
  • Customer-centricity - examples from your past of tough product challenges that you powered through because you were unwilling to make your problems your customers’ problems
  • A never-ending desire to grow and learn

  • Decisive, action-oriented attitude; able and willing to own open issues and drive resolution. You know how to leverage data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis
