What’s the Job?
We are looking for a Manager, Lifecycle Analysis & Reporting, to join our Environmental Health and Safety team based out of Malvern, PA. The intent of this position is to manage the sustainability reporting systems within NA EHS&S Department, for the Saint-Gobain North American Region and all businesses (including HPS) in the Region. A primary responsibility for this role is managing the data modelling and analysis for the North American Delegation Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) programs.

  • Oversee the management of the Sustainability data reporting and analysis for NA, including scheduled monthly reports, adhoc requested reports, and training for reporting applications.  Most reports are required for ESG reporting purposes and require a high degree of accuracy
  • Manages internal reporting database(s) and IT applications.
  • Provides appropriate feedback, including statistics and reports, on program performance.
  • Manages and conduct the data collection at manufacturing sites and from online databases, its modeling, and analysis for Life Cycle Assessments. Writes LCA reports and uses them to prepare Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) necessary for participation in building product markets. Prepares EPDs for 3rd part review and publication when applicable.
  • Works with external industry partners, such as relevant industry groups, and LCA program operators like UL to develop analysis frameworks (PCR) for various product categories
  • Assists the NA EHS, Sustainability and Product Stewardship teams with developing strategies for reducing environmental impacts of products and processes based on the LCA data. Identifying product and process “hot spots” to ensure competitive and differentiated Saint-Gobain & CertainTeed products are available on the market.  This data is also used to benchmark SG processes against competitors to ensure we remain competitive.
  • Effectively communicate potential opportunities to relevant internal operations, supply chain, research and development and marketing stakeholders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

What do you bring?

  • BS Degree in Science, Engineering or Business discipline required.
  • MS Degree in Science, Engineering discipline preferred.
  • 2- 4 years of experience in Sustainability and CSR/ESG programs required.
  • 2-4 years of Life Cycle Assessment training (Preferably in use of GaBi LCA Suite) required.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Strong speaking and writing skills.
  • Ability to provide recommendation to improve current processes.
  • Strong analytical skills in order to understand complex situations to study and propose solutions.
  • Drive programs across the BUs. Be able to manage and execute multiple projects at various stages of completion simultaneously.
