What’s the job?
- Plant is located in Oxford, NC.
- No travel requirements beyond the occasional RPG site visit for sharing best practices
- Manage the sites environmental permits
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to continually improve the facilities environmental program
- Lead the site efforts toward achieving company Energy and Emissions Objectives (2030 Goals)
- Manage assigned environmental and sustainability projects
- Develop capital cost, design and installation plans for new equipment specifically environmental equipment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
What do you bring?
- Four-year Environmental Engineering Degree
- At least five years of experience managing environmental compliance in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with environmental licenses, permits and reporting (Air Quality Permit – Title V, Industrial Storm Water Permit, SPCC Plan)
- General knowledge of North Carolina Environmental Protection Agency regulations
- Knowledge of, or ability to understand operational excellence principles and tools, such as 5S, SMED, Kaizen, Six Sigma green belt, and TPM.
- Must be efficient in Microsoft office
