Position description

What’s the job?
The Vice President of Total Rewards is a vital role in our North American region (Canada & USA), with boundless impact to the current and future employees of Saint-Gobain. You will be accountable for crafting and driving the overall strategy to ensure the organization continues to maintain a competitive and dynamic Total Rewards suite. We are looking for a champion to invest in our people while appropriately driving performance. In this role, you will:

  • Develop, communicate, and administer competitive Total Rewards strategies that are cost effective and consistent with market trends and organizational objectives.
  • Drive investment-facing total rewards decisions in alignment with a meaningful pay-for-performance culture.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership on the development of Total Rewards methodologies and philosophy, including supporting policies, practices and vendors.
  • Partner closely with senior business leaders, hiring managers and human resource leaders to transform their unique strategies into the NA Total Rewards plan to meet the whole organization’s needs.
  • Analyze existing rewards practices to ensure they align with the business strategy, including links to diversity, inclusion, and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with Total Rewards regulatory and audit requirements, both internally and externally.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor degree in Business, HR or related fields is required.
  • 8+ years of best-in-class HR experience, specifically in Total Rewards.
  • People Development experience required- we need someone who can operate in a highly collaborative, team-focused manner with exceptional coaching and mentoring.
  • Manufacturing industry experience with a decentralized global organization strongly preferred.
