Position description

Under the guidance and leadership of the HR Director for Siding Product Group (SPG) / Exterior Product Sales (EPS), the HR Manager will support the administration and implementation of a wide range of Human Resource programs and initiatives for the Malvern SPG and EPS teams.

Essential Functions:

  • With the support of 1 HR Generalist, the HR Manager will be responsible for the administration of HR programs at the Corporate level for SPG/EPS.
  • Support talent acquisition, retention, and development for SPG/EPS personnel.
  • Support exempt hiring, banding roles, acquiring approvals, and participating in interviews across wide range of functions in SPG and EPS.
  • Participate in data gathering and analysis as it relates to compensation and/or benefits activities, internal mobility and employee turnover as well as provides recommendations for employee retention efforts.
  • Provide a hands-on approach with the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees and execute action plans to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
  • Understand business goals and recommend thoughtful new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in business objectives.
  • Support the annual Strategic Workforce Plan, Performance Appraisal Process, Merit, and Annual Employee Engagement Survey.
  • Facilitate annual talent management/succession planning process for SPG/EPS.
  • Provides guidance to managers, supervisors on employee development and employee relations issues.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years in Human Resource Management experience at a multi-site level, with progressive levels of responsibility.
  • Experience in supporting a sales force and sales incentive plan design is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated experience using data to identify insights that drive action.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact and work effectively with all levels of the organization, including executive management.
  • Requires ability to travel up to approximately 20%, based on business needs.
