How you will utilize your expertise:
This role is working with Saint-Gobain PAM who are based in Melton Mowbray.  PAM is the premier supplier of ductile iron and cast iron products to the UK's key utilities, telecoms, highways, civil engineering, construction and housing companies.  In a typical week we will manufacture in the region of 400 tons of products including access and drainage covers

As Electrical Engineer you react to breakdowns and carry out Planned/Scheduled Maintenance checks on heavy duty production machinery and plant including, foundry equipment, overhead cranes, conveyors, transfer cars and moulding equipment. 

You will work in a team of 4, reporting to an Engineering Supervisor and play and integral part in keeping production moving.  

This position is a shift role and will require you to works across days, afternoons and night shifts and also 1 weekend a month.

What kind of person are we looking for?

• Appreticed trained Electrician from an industrial manufacturing environment
• An industry recognized qualification – NVQ 3 or ONC/HNC
• Wiring Regs qualification would be an advantage
• Familiar with all types of AC/DC motors and associated control systems
• Extensive knowledge of Inverters with the ability to fit alternative systems when required
• Sound knowledge of 415V, 3 phase, 240V single phase electrical installations
• Ability to read and fault find electrical and schematic drawings
