Are you a self-starter who goes the extra mile to meet your customers’ needs? Can you work well as part of a dedicated team? We have a fantastic opportunity for two reliable and self-motivated Warehouse Operatives to join our Glass Solutions Northern Hub team in Elland, West Yorkshire.

Glassolutions are part of the Saint-Gobain group and the largest processor and distributor of glass in the UK. We offer a breadth of services unrivalled across the glass industry, supplying and processing glass for a broad range of applications.

What impact will I have in this role?

As a Warehouse Operative with Glass Solutions, you will prepare flat-glass products, through cutting, loading and unloading, ready for delivery to our customers in the local area.

Your key day-to-day duties will include:

  • Cutting flat glass products to achieve accurate, good quality products in the correct quantities.
  • Carrying out loading and unloading duties of flat glass products in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ensuring next day’s deliveries match specification to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work place, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Experience working in a small branch/multi-tasking environment
  • Customer driven with excellent attention to detail to meet the customer’s needs
  • A self-motivated individual and flexible attitude to work, keen to support their team
  • Overhead crane and FLT training – desirable, but not essential
  • Glass working/cutting experience - desirable, but can be trained
