The role would require you to work a 2 week shift pattern of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.

How will you support us? How you will utilise your expertise? What impact will you have in this role?

This role is working with Weber where they are the formulator and manufacturer of building materials for the facade, construction mortars, flooring systems and tile fixing markets. Weber's well established product range includes monocouche renders, external wall insulation systems, tile adhesives/grouts, levelling compounds and specialist construction products.

In the role as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will;

  • React and fix issues around the plant with some of the latest machinery.

  • Implement maintenance schedules in line with stakeholder confirmation (production schedule).

  • Look at continuous improvement to the maintenance environment adhering to 5S philosophy and WCM principles.

  • Carry out any reasonable request with regard to site maintenance or assistance as required by the maintenance supervisor or plant manager.

  • Cover shifts as required to support colleague absence (holidays and/or sickness) and be available to assist within problem solving activities via telephone where practicable/efficient to benefit plant output.

  • Manage the activities of all external contractors that visit the site to ensure that work is carried out to the required standard.

In order to be successful in this role, you will;

  • Have previous experience of working in a plant/ factory environment within a manufacturing maintenance background.

  • Ideally have City & Guilds, ONC/HNC and / or 17th Edition Regulations qualification or equivalent experience in the role.

  • Have good knowledge of PLC systems.

  • Be able to work on your own initiative.

  • Be driven and motivated to partner our plant to constantly improve output. and act upon opportunities using your initiative, and pace to reduce breakdowns or shortages that may affect the customer experience.
