How will you support us?

This role is working with Saint-Gobain Weber the world's leading industrial mortar manufacturer offering a complete range of solutions developed using advanced formulation technology to meet the highest technical requirements. This role is working within our modern manufacturing facility in Telford, supporting the manufacturing process working on rotating shifts (early 6am to 2pm and late shift 10am to 6pm).

In the role as a Production Operative you will be required:

  • To adhere to all operational procedures with respect to production, stock movements, health and safety practice and 5’S’ policy.
  • To follow all production Operating Procedures when conducting day-to-day manufacture and production requirements.
  • To execute schedule requirements as defined and detailed by the Shift Supervisor or Plant Manager.
  • To maintain a tidy powder area by correctly putting away finished goods, continuously clearing away unused items back to their correct address.
  • Help to develop the best production practices for the entire range of products.

 

What kind of person are we looking for?

  • A current FLT license (Counterbalance) is essential to the role.
  • Strong English and Mathematical ability.
  • Production experience, preferably within a continuous production environment. For example, if you have worked within the food or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Have a passion for health & safety with a relevant qualification being desirable.
