What impact will you have in this role?

This role is working with  Saint-Gobain Industrial Ceramics - part of the Saint-Gobain group and a worldwide leader in ceramics solutions. The company manufactures a variety of Refractory and Engineered Ceramic materials for worldwide applications in metallurgical processing, high temperature processing, chemical, temperature and abrasion resistant applications. In this role you will;

  • ensure that our ISO9001 quality management system is implemented and maintained across all functions of the business ensuring alignment to site strategy and customer requirements

  • conduct scheduled audits on Business Management Systems processes in-line with Technical specifications, international standards and customer requirements.

  • devise and implement procedures for the effective control of process change ensuring they are fully integrated into business processes

  • Maintain a system of Quality Assurance of all manufactured product on site

  • Previous experience within a QMS environment, ideally in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to quickly understand details of a complex product range with high attention to detail and ability to work accurately

  • Problem solving and analytical skills

  • Previous laboratory experience would be beneficial, but not mandatory

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
