Celotex are currently looking to appoint a team of 7 Production Operators to work on a new shift that is being introduced at their modern manufacturing site to support a large increase in production. The roles will be working on a rotating shift pattern between 7am – 3pm and 3pm – 11pm.

Based at a brand new site, you will be part of a team of operators who will be joining the business at an exciting time that could present long-term employment opportunities for the right people.

How you will utilise your expertise:  

As a Production Operator you will be responsible for the operation of the plant in accordance with the agreed company standards and specifications in order to ensure the safe, continuous, effective and efficient production of excellent quality Celotex Products

In this role, we expect you to;

  • Safely and correctly operate production machinery and equipment
  • monitor equipment performance and report any defects or problems immediately to appropriate persons
  • Select the correct chemicals and materials and the correct programme required for each production run and make necessary and authorised adjustments to the equipment to produce the best quality products
  • Advise the Shift Manager of any disruption to the production programme and timescales for resolution; complete alternative duties during periods of downtime
  • Ensure that during production all parameters are met or exceeded without loss of quality or downtime and that the downtime log is recorded accurately and timely
  • Manage and complete all paperwork well and timely, accurately logging all stoppages, faults, downtime, etc. in the relevant place e.g. SCADA
  • Train and provide guidance to Engineers and Operators as required

To be suitable for the Production Operator role you will have: 


  • Experience within a similar role and environment of working on a production line
  • A detailed knowledge of the safe and correct operation of all production machinery and equipment
  • Hold a valid and current Forklift Truck Driving License
  • A strong awareness and respect for health, safety and environment
