You’ll be working for Weber in Flitwick. Weber is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK, and specialise in the manufacture of industrial mortar products including renders and decorative finishes, tile fixing products, floor screeds, technical mortars and external wall insulation systems. What will I be doing in the role?

Our Operatives are very important to the smooth running of the business, you will be responsible to ensure the safe, continuous, effective and efficient production of our products. Your role is important to help ensure products are where they need to be on time and you will be responsible for meeting required plant outputs to ensure that the product moves to the next process step in a condition that is ready for delivery to the customer. To support our customers effectively you will;

  • Maintain and promote safe working standards with a commitment to your own and others safety
  • Ensure all required data and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Embrace, plan and organise a diverse range of operational activities to support business needs
  • Maintain and drive World Class Manufacturing (WCM) performance standards as part of a high performing team
  • Operate vehicles
  • Work on a fully automated production line with a high level of autonomy

Shift pattern: Weekly Rotating of earlies and late shift, week one is 6am-2pm Monday to Friday, then week 2 is 2pm-10pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 12pm-8pm.  The salary for this role will be a fixed salary of £20,600 pa plus a shift premium of 13%, and based on development of skills and grade, the salary could increase to £22,450 plus shift allowance.
