Quality & Business Controls Manager - Scotframe, Scotland based

This position is working for Scotframe who are a part of the Saint Gobain group who are the Global winners of TOP EMPLOYER (2016-2020).

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Scotframe Family. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and well established team and play a pivotal role in providing a first class service.


In this role you will be the advisory service for Operational Management to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business procedures and Corporate Governance; adding value and reducing risk via recommended improvements to Customer Service, Quality and business controls across Scotframe. In the role you will facilitate continuous improvement in controls, provide procedural documentation and undertake assessments of compliance to those procedures and be able to provide support to branches on the correct use of branch systems.

You will also ensure legal and technical compliance with legislation, International standards and Saint-Gobain Policies. You will lead and develop our Quality Assurance and continuous improvement programmes across Scotframe. Managing the Chain of Custody policy, procedures and certification for the Scotframe brand.


Here are some of the experiences and traits we are looking for in our next hire;

  • Previous experience within a quality role or Business Controls (ideally multi-site)
  • Solid understanding and experience of ISO Management Systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement tools, techniques and methodologies
  • Proven ability to think operationally and possess a clear understanding of the Principles of Quality Management with experience gained within a multi-site distribution or manufacturing business.
  • Experience of developing and delivering sustainable changes across a department/function
  • Resilient and able to constructively challenge and influence
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability assimilate information
  • People management experience with demonstrable ability to lead, coach and motivate a team
  • Able to translate technical language into simple terms
  • Driving Licence (travel and overnight stays are required)
