This is a rare opportunity within the business, you will start your career journey as Logistics Manager and initially be based at our busy manufacturing plant in Kirkby Thore and then see you progress in to other areas to get a greater appreciation of how the business operates from the ground upwards.

You will report directly to our Plant Manager and manage a capable Logistics and Warehouse team and be at the core of our business to engage people, forging ahead with a shared vision to drive forward our agenda and continuously improve performance with the impact and influence to drive change you will also inspire those around you towards autonomous safety.

  • Experience of working in an environment where safety is of paramount importance
  • Evidence of leading teams successfully through change initiatives
  • Developing teams and managing the employee life cycle
  • Stakeholder management and strong examples of successfully managing expectations, navigating internal politics and delivering results
  • Strong influencing skills and demonstrable evidence of where you have inspired others to change a course of action
  • Strong examples of where you have anticipated, met and exceed customer expectations
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering results in an operations environment
  • Experience of successfully solving operational problems with the confidence to make decisions without complete information

  • Degree (minimum 2:1) in a business, scientific or related subject – Preferable but not essential

  • Demonstrable evidence of implementing, measuring, monitoring and improving targets
