This role is working with our Weber brand who manufacture and distribute a wide range of specialist industrial mortar products including renders, tile fixing, floor screed and wall insulation systems.  We supply to a host of customers including builder’s merchants and contractors.  Due to our continued growth we need an experienced Warehouse Shift Leader to join our site in Flitwick, Bedfordshire for an initial 6 month contract.   This a leadership role where you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the warehouse.  You will pay particular attention to service delivery levels to both internal and external customers. 

In the role as Warehouse Shift Leader you will;

  • Effectively manage a team of warehouse operatives
  • Managing the daily work plan.
  • Coordinate and organise daily picking requirements.   
  • Monitor accuracy and organisation during unloading/inspection of all inbound and outbound goods
  • Supervise picking and checking process for accuracy and to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled.
  • Full adherence to health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Assist in employee training, mentoring and appraisals.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have;

  • Previous experience of managing a team a fast paced warehouse environment
  • A current FLT/Counter Balance Licence
  • Excellent IT skills – SAP knowledge would be a bonus
  • Experience of coordinating inward/outward deliveries
  • Great organisational skills
