How will you support us?

This role is working with Gibbs & Dandy Glass Huddersfield part of the Saint-Gobain group and leading Glass merchant with 4 branches, each serving professionals in the Regional Glass trades; Saint-Gobain is the world leader in the habitat and construction markets, with over 170,000 employees and operations in 67 countries worldwide. With such a significant presence we are proud to offer our employees a career without boundaries. In the role of Sales Administrator, you will;

 

  • Generate enquiries or sales opportunities from pre-existing customers

  • Represent the voice of the customer within the business, expressing their needs, wants and challenges

  • Be proactive and reactive in communication with customers

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure any potential service failures are communicated to customers

  • Manage the entering, processing and progress of customer orders

  • Process cash sale orders in accordance with company policy

  • Understand customer logistics and delivery requirements, the associated challenges and business capabilities and constraints

  • Gain a thorough understanding of product range and customer technical specifications

  • Provide and follow up on quotations in a timely manner

  • Work with other team members as appropriate to maximise team performance

     

     

    What kind of person are we looking for?

  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Are IT literate and competent to intermediate level in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Have excellent customer focus, and are passionate and determined to achieve sales

  • Have Strong analytical, administrative and organisation skills, and great attention to detail

  • Good time management skills, with an ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and at the same time are able to multi-task
