The role of the Specification Manager will be to drive the direction of the floor screening and tile fixing business through the implementation of robust specification activity with key market influencers enabling Weber to achieve its ambition of specification market leadership.


This role is working with Weber where you will be responsible for:


  • Managing the relationship with key floor screening and tile fixing specification stakeholders, such as Retail and Commercial Clients, Architects and Specialist Sub-Contractors and House builder Design Teams to maximise market presence.
  • Proactively using tenacity and determination in selling alongside technical competence and relationship building to successfully identify opportunities and manage floor screening and tile fixing specification activity.
  • Managing the specification activity for flooring and tile fixing within the territory through a combination of project targeting (e.g. through the use of lead generating software and framework agreements) and reversing into specification (e.g. through stakeholder relationship management) to provide a strong project pipeline with relevance to our product offer.

In order to be successful in this role, you must be:


  • Specification experience in floor screening.
  • Practical and logical knowledge of construction products and project tender process.
  • Willing to travel extensively to cover the Midlands to South East to include London.
  • Educated to degree level (preferable but not essential) or equivalent business qualification.
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems experience.
  • Problem solving skills and technical / commercial acumen.
