You’ll be working for Minster, in Royston. Minster is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK. We provide expert, straight-forward advice to the UK’s major infrastructure, housing, utilities and industrial/commercial development projects, coupled with unrivalled access to the world’s most innovative products.

What will I be doing in the role?

Our Sales Executive is one of our most important roles in the business. A great Sales Executive will help keep our business running smoothly and continue to build and develop customer relationships and sales opportunities. To support the business, you will;

  • Maximising customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products offering specific product advice
  • Developing new customer accounts and lapsed accounts
  • Realising full potential of all customer interactions and build strong, effective relationships with customers and suppliers, managing feedback accordingly
  • Ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion
  • Supporting all Company initiatives
  • Following plans to continuously improve customer experience
  • Understanding local market issues and communicate to Manager to support sales growth plans
  • Advise customers on trading terms and conditions and information in relation to customer accounts and credit levels
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve product and industry knowledge
  • Maintain appropriate Housekeeping procedures to maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment

Experience in the industry is not essential but would be beneficial to the role. We have plenty of great training to build your product knowledge if you are willing to learn.

Hours of Work

This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday from 7;30am to 5pm.
