We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Yard Operative to support our JP Corry Portadown branch. This is a pivotal role within the team, as it ensures yard operations are carried out efficiently, effectively and above all else, safely.

What impact will I have in this role?

As Yard Operative, you will be expected to play your part in ensuring the team are fully compliant with best practice Health and Safety processes, whilst working towards Branch Sales and profit targets.

Your key responsibilities as Yard Operative will include:

  • Deal with customers on a day to day basis in the yard, building long term relationships.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles to ensure sales orders are promptly processed to meet customers' needs.
  • Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas to a high standard of Health, Safety and neatness
  • Ensure all goods are correctly priced via label checks, minimising stock shrinkage and facilitating accurate daily stock counts.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to maintain JP Corry's leading reputation.
